You may be familiar with Rifle Paper Company and all of Anna's wonderous illustrations, as she's plastered all over the inter-web and is several blogger's "frequently visited." I recently was perusing her blog and saw this cute clip about doing what you love. I admit, sometimes I find it difficult to follow my dreams with all it's ups and downs, but I'm doing all I can to make my dream a reality; reading Anna's blog and watching the above video gave me the inspiration I needed today. Hope it can inspire you too!

I had a lovely Turkey Day with my family in Pittsburgh, hope yours was amazing too! Here are a few things that Kair-ied me away...
I gobbled up this book during my plane ride to and from Pittsburgh.
We brined our Turkey and then covered it in duck fat, lemons, oranges, rosemary, and thyme!
My friend Rebecca LOVES bacon. I'm sure this will be a hit with her!
Amazing holiday gift wrapping ideas.
I love old photos, especially ones of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Great Gift Guide.
I'm having house envy.
Interesting take on muffins.
Hope you have a Happy Monday!

I love me an Etsy find! I was shopping around and found this lovely store LoBohem. I'm definitely going to order myself one for my wedding! I can't wait! They're just so beautiful and I think it will had a hint of exactly what I'm looking for with the amazing vintage pearls!
My latest obsessions are these ab fab glasses from Warby Parker. All frames are only $95! How great is that?! Aaaand they have a virtual try on option, where you can upload a picture of yourself to see what the frames look like on your face. I'd love to own a pair, wouldn't you?

I am beyond excited to go "home" to Pittsburgh this coming week! The r & r is much needed, and can't wait to see family and friends! Here are a few yummies from around the web this week!
I'm in total hibernation mode and wouldn't even need to leave the house to wear this amazing scarf.
Thinking about wedding cakes for our wedding, and these look great! So pretty!
I watched Oprah's favorite things yesterday, and I must admit I was totally jealous of the audience! I guess my chance has passed.
I guess I'm out of the loop, because I had no idea H&M had high fashion designers design a line once a year. Super cool.
Loving the updated design of one of my fave blogs.
Beautiful Brooklyn Brown Stone.
How cool would it be to send someone a telegram for the holidays?!
Yummy Winter Treat.

Most bloggers do a weekly round up on Friday, but given my weird schedule, I thought why don't I do my faves from the web during the weekend?! This way Monday morning you have something fun to get you through any case of "the Mondays" you may have. Enjoy!
Would love to make my house look like something out of here.
I have a thing for pillows, would love to give the living room a new vibe.
Doesn't a romantic 5 day get away sound amazing!
I'm guilty. I want to see both this and this.
I want for my wedding day.
I think these would be great for flowers to give a vintage vibe.
Totally going to have this guy make me a custom stamp!
Funky and fun!
Pizza to die for!
I've been dying to go here.
Have a great week! I'm super excited to have my girlfriends Sarah and Sam over on Monday night for Gnocchi night! Hope you have a good one!
I'm addicted. I can't help myself. It's like a secret rendezvous with my television set, every night I turn on the electric blanket and snuggle up for an episode of Mad Men before hitting the hay. Okay, I admit it, I sound like I'm 85, but it's all so glorious as the nights have grown colder. I'm a tad behind, and jumped on the wagon a few seasons late, but I'm catching up! There is something irresistible about the story line, the ridiculously attractive people, and clothing I love. Do you have a latest obsession? Prey tell.

I can't help it, I know I might be rushing things along a tad, but as soon as the temperature drops my mind floats to being cozy inside with a cup of hot chocolate, Christmas Trees, and Frosty the Snowman. Yesterday I found myself rocking out to Harry Connick Jr. Christmas tunes, and enjoying the glorious return of the eggnog latte at Starbucks! I found this cool site this morning on fun things to enjoy while in New York City during the holidays. Sure, I'm beyond cozy and excited now, but I'm sure come January I'll slip into the winter blues, but for now it's great fun!

I was reading the new Hollywood Reporter this past week and came across this great interview with Amy Adams, Hilary Swank, Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Helena Bonham Carter and Annette Bening. I'm always in awe and have amazing respect for women who can seem to handle it all: a fabulous career, children, marriage, and manage to look fabulous. I loved hearing their fears, how they over came certain doubt that goes through almost every actors mind, and how they balance life. I felt like I was actually sitting at the table with these ladies, and it felt comforting to hear the same thoughts that go through my mind at one point or currently go through their's. To see parts 1 and 2 of the interview watch here, and here.

Coming up the first weekend in December I am going to be in a new play called "Speaking to the Dead", as a part of the Open Frames Festival at The TheatreLab! I am a young woman who refuses to date the living and can speak to ghosts. I know it sounds a bit serious, but it's actually a musical comedy! Check out more info here. Hope you can make it!

Aren't these photos great?! I used to train with a professional ballet company for a number of years, so I am especially drawn to these great photos. They are apart of a site called, The Ballerina Project, which grew from the idea of New York City as a magnet for creativity. Each photograph is a collaborative work of dance, fashion design and photography against the city's landscape.

If you know me at all you know I have an unhealthy obsession with shoes. Oh, come on, we have to have sooooomething. Isn't this such a cute way to store your shoes, but also have them on display? I spotted it on Senses Five a few days ago. Tre Cute!
