Guilty as charged. I fancy old things. Anything from vintage clothing, down to my engagement ring (1920s!) When I stumbled along this website, I immediately fell in love with everything on it and wanted it for my home! I especially like the cash register prices and the mason jars. I can see the flowers in the mason jars already. Check out more cool old things on Three Potato Four.

I was kind of bored and thought, "Wonder if they make any cute, not cheesy cake toppers," so I proceeded to look. And guess what? Most of them are cheesy and cheap looking. I then was taking a gander at say YES! to Hoboken and found this cute do it yourself kit! I love it! I think it's such a great way to make something unique to the couple and have a fun arts and craft. I can even put cute little glasses on my fiance! I think I'm going to order a pair. What do you think? Have any other cute suggestions?

My fiance (still get a kick out of saying that!) really would love us to get bikes so we can bike around Brooklyn, which I think sounds like a fabulous idea! I spotted this nifty bag on Oh Joy! This looks EXACTLY like something I would have on my sweet ride. Do you think I could perchance even, gasp, wear this awesome bike dress while riding the bike! Next on the summer check list, get a bike. Things I would love to check off of my summer check list,
*Get a Bike
*Finish manicuring our "backyard"
*Have an engagement party
*Plan and organize an engagement party
*Go to the beach at least once!
*Visit Pittsburgh (my home town)
*Find a location for our wedding!
*Have a BBQ
*Go to DEA Beacon
What's on your summer check list? Have any good suggestions on ways to make my check list fabulous?

There has been radio silence over the last week because I've been in technical rehearsals for a play called Love Me, AND BECAUSE I GOT ENGAGED! YAY! We took an amazing walk in Prospect Park and then the Botanical Gardens. He popped the question right there on a bench in the Botanical Gardens! Moments after he proposed a bird pooed on his hand! Yes, good luck, I think so too! He also did a smashing job on the ring, art deco from the 1920s! I love him so much, we're beyond excited and over the moon happy :-) Can't seem to get off of cloud nine.
