As I have mentioned before, it seems lots of my friends and family are tying the knot in the coming year and have in the past year. Just yesterday I found out that another cousin of mine is engaged! My boyfriend's sister is getting hitched this coming September, and we successfully picked out the bride's maid dresses! **Applause!** We went to Amsale, and had what I would call a fun and low stress time. Who knew?! The bride decided we would all wear eggplant colored dresses, but each pick our own style. Which I give two thumbs up! I'm wearing the one pictured in blue above. I totally plan on sporting it in the summer with some over sized shades, and big summer bag. Once the wedding is over of course :-) Do you have bride's maid success or horror stories?

Want your lipstick to stay on your lips and not your wine glass? Be a slick chick, and discretely wet the rim of the wine glass with a swift lick before you start enjoying your wine, and voila, lipstick in tact, wine glass in tact! Now if I could only figure out how to prevent staining my teeth with red wine.

SIGH! Double SIGH! I'm IN LOVE, with these shoes. I first fell in love with them when I saw them on Cup of Jo several months ago. I then became obsessive, searching the web for them; ebay, amazon, even the couple featured in JoAnna's blog! (I know I'm mildly insane) But, alas, they're just no where to be found on the world wide web, ergo, leaving me sad and shoeless. I'm traveling to Italy next month, and I feel in some weird sort of "The Secret" sort of way these Giuseppe Zanotti shoes will find their way to me, haha. Here's for wishing! If ANYONE knows a way I could find these fabulous, drool worthy shoes, let me know and I will reward you handsomely. Or at least buy you a cup of coffee :-) What fashion treats have you been drooling over lately (or for months)?

Yesterday, I was enjoying a delicious homemade omelet and freshly pressed french press coffee from my personal chef, okay my boyfriend, and flipping through day time tv on the couch before heading to work. Whilst doing so, I saw One Life to Live, and it suddenly clicked, "Today's episode was one that I had done some work on a few weeks prior!" It seems fitting that this happened today, as I received another phone call from one of the casting directors from OLTL, and I'm set to work two days next week! I'm hopeful that it will lead to even more spectacular things into the future :-) Working on the OLTL set is so wonderful, and one of the friendliest I've had the pleasure of working on. Hope you got a peek of Snoop on yesterday's episode of OLTL.
If not check it out here.

Love, love, love a bath! Especially when it's as cold and yucky as it has been. I absolutely love these tubs to lay back and relax in. Simply insert a glass of wine, bubble bath, and scented candles and you have one amazingly relaxing bath. One day I will have a bath tub like this.... One day... Sigh.

"Pink Lotus Necklace"
I periodically go in the Time Warner Building, especially since I have been spending a good amount of time at The Looking Glass Theatre lately due to rehearsals and performances. I have passed by Satya Jewelry several times, and have been drawn to a number of their pieces, but haven't bought one yet. I think next time I'm passing by I'm going to treat myself. I love the meanings behind the stones and the pendents, especially the remover of all obstacles and the lotus flower, for new beginnings. I typically don't go for yellow gold, but in this case the chain and jewelry are so delicate and beautiful I can't resist. Which one do you like?

This past Monday, I went to support my friend Brenden in a show called "Foreplays" which was showing at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn. It was a really cool space, and quite humorous pieces, obviously all dealing with some aspect of attraction or sex. I would definitely check out future pieces they put up. They're a fairly new company, and quite enjoyable.

I do hope you an come out and support V-Day this Friday and Saturday at The Looking Glass Theatre. Benefit performances are Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 3pm and 8pm. Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door.
Read more here.
And listen to Eve's inspirational speech here.
I can be a big grumpy pants when I don't have my morning coffee, or my mid morning coffee, or my afternoon coffee... well, you get the idea. I love stumbling across new little boutique coffee joints. During a jaunt in Brooklyn last week, my boyfriend and I came across Cafe Grumpy on 7th Ave. I think what I like most is the Cafe Grumpy paraphernalia, kind of looks like me early morning :-) If you're in the neighborhood, just keep an eye pealed for the grumpy face, there isn't any signage on this little joint. Have fun little hidden treasures have you discovered lately?

Yes, I definitely complain about being cold all the time during the winter, but at least I didn't have to deal with this! My mother sent me a text message with this picture and the caption, "help I don't have a shovel!" haha. Pittsburgh got almost two feet of snow last week, and are expected to get more! They declared a state of emergency, apparently even the adults have a snow day tomorrow. Although a snow day sounds pretty darn tempting, I think I'd prefer not having snow up to my knees! What I would give for a warm beach get away, sigh.
